The technique to manufacture and transform competent cell plays important
role in moderm genetic engineering.Yeastern Biotech had developed a high
efficient transformation technique, saving 90% reaction time compared to
traditional techniques of chemical and electric chock.This new method
shortens the transformation time from 2 hours to 1 minute.
In addition, no SOC and LB recovery steps were needed.The resulting
competent cells could be re-packed, repeatedly frozen and thawed, still
maintain high efficiency.This product is protected by patents in Taiwan.

major breakthrough is no recovery step needed. By varying the structure of
cell membrane of E. coli, the desired DNA easily penetrates into the cell
